Anger Comes From The Victim Mentality
You may not realize it, and you may not want to admit it, but when you're angry you're feeling like a victim.
This is tough to accept for some, because when you're angry you may feel
strong and in charge. But if you look at why you're angry, you'll see the victim position clear as day.
Nobody wants to be a victim...let's look at how you can end up there without wanting to:
- Anger is a "feeling you have when you feel threatened or opposed."
- When you feel threatened or opposed, you feel fear, which is a "weak" emotion. So you go to the "strong" emotion...anger.
- This seems like a solution to the problem, but it's not. It just offers a temporary feeling of power that leads to more victimizing.
Now let's look at a real solution...one that works well, and will serve you for the rest of your life.
When you heal your unhealthy anger, what you're left with is healthy anger...which translates into determination, focus, persistence and courage.
And that's exactly what it takes to be your own hero.
How To Become Your Own Hero
"Whatever is happening in your life that causes you the most worry, concern or doubt, ask yourself, "How can I get stronger and smarter because of this?" This takes you right out of the disgruntled victim mode into the best of who you are--the champion of your own cause."

Now let's look at how you can become your own hero:
- Heros are inspired by the desire to rescue innocent victims, and as a child you were indeed an innocent victim to what happened to
you.
- As an adult, you are responsible (no longer a victim), so you can rescue that innocent child you once were.
- The healthy anger you need to be your own hero will come directly from understanding and healing your emotional wounds of the past.
- Then, you will be inspired to take all of the necessary action to protect yourself and provide the best possible life for yourself that you possibly can.
Here's another way of looking at this. Being your own worst enemy is just not smart, and it doesn't work at all...it only makes things worse.
Being your own best friend -- your
own hero, is very smart, and it works!
