Take Only Inspired Action
Inspired action means you really want to do what you're doing. Acting out of obligation means you don't really want to do what you're doing.
It costs you great energy and frustration to act out of obligation.
So how do you take only inspired action?
- Pay attention to your words. Are you saying or thinking "I really need to do this" or "I really should take care of this" or "I have to do this?" That means you're acting out of obligation.
- Inspired action means you're doing something that you feel good about. It feels like the right thing to do, not only for others, but for you as well.
- When you take inspired action, you will have more energy and enthusiasm for what you're doing, and the people you engage with will notice and benefit. If you act out of obligation, you will bring anger and frustration with you into the activity you don't really want to do.
- The Goodfinding book will help you to get more lined up with your positive emotions and acting with integrity. When you're in your integrity, you will always take only inspired action. Don' want to read the book, or don't

Think of it this way...
If I'm acting out of obligation, I'm dragging unwilling parts of myself into what I'm doing, and they will be angry about it. Inspired action means I'm "all in" and happy about it.
