Why Find The Good In Change?
Much of the anger, frustration, and anxiety you feel on a regular basis results from resisting change, especially change that feels bad or just seems wrong.
This resistence is unavoidable and inevitable, but the point here is that you don't have to stay in that resistance. If you get stuck in the resistance, you will only add to your problems, and solve nothing.
When you find the good
in change, you can begin moving forward toward solutions, growth, and new arenas for expansion.
- When you start looking for the good in the changes that come your way, or even the ones happening on the global scale, you are creating openings and opportunities, instead of creating anger, stress, and tension in your body and mind.
- Your benefit starts as soon as you ask, "What good can come from this change?" Then, as you make the effort to answer your own question, you will be rewiring your brain to grow and improve.
- If you allow yourself to stay stuck in resistance, you are shutting down your higher brain functions and increasing stress hormones in your body, thereby contributing to decline in your mental and physical health.
- By finding
the good in whatever happens, you are moving from the victim postion to conscious creator, with virtually unlimited possibilities ahead for you.
- Others will be watching, listening, and learning as you set an example of innovation and creative exploration.
Be aware of the powerful pull of the angry victim position that is there in your consciousness. It is literally a dead end street, offering no value whatsoever, for you or anyone.
Think of it this way...
When you find the good in change, you are becoming a leader within your own body and mind, and for all those who are watching and listening.
